Karachi: Wicket-keeper striker Sarfaraz Ahmed replaced active member Mohammad Rizwan in today’s test against New Zealand, four years after his last cap at the Whites.
The last appearance of a right-hander was against South Africa in 2019, the longest cricket of his format, scoring half a tone and recording 10 catches.

Speaking to media in Karachi on Sunday, Shahid Afridi stressed the need for player workload management and hinted at including Mir Hamza and Sarfaraz Ahmed in the final XI.
